At Wildwoods Survival Academy, we are dedicated to providing an immersive learning experience that empowers participants with essential survival skills. Our mission is to bridge the gap between getting lost and finding oneself in the wilderness.

Neetkundh Homestay - Authentic Coorg Hospitality
Neetkundh Homestay by Wildwoods is a 22-acre estate nestled on the fringes of the Brahmagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in Coorg, Karnataka, offering a blend of nature and traditional Kodava hospitality. Located approximately 250 km from Bengaluru and 120 km from Mysore, the property is characterized by its coffee plantations, forest land, and the Barapole Left Tributary which passes through the grounds. The homestay features three traditional Coorgi/Malenadu-style cottages—comprising two family rooms and a dormitory—along with approximately 20 tents for larger groups, accommodating a total of up to 54 guests.
Guests can enjoy authentic Coorg cuisine served buffet-style in a communal dining area and participate in diverse outdoor activities such as trekking, slush volleyball, archery, and estate walks. As a pet-friendly and eco-conscious "Zero Plastic" zone, the homestay maintains strict house rules, including designated smoking areas, a prohibition on drugs, and a requirement for pets to be leashed in common areas. Its proximity to major attractions like Nagarahole Tiger Reserve, Irpu Waterfalls, and the Dubare Elephant Camp makes it a central base for exploring the region often referred to as the "Scotland of India".
Survival Skills Enhancement Program
Survival is a situation where your knowledge is your only resource. Our program prepares you to handle emergencies effectively.
Core Skills Taught:
- Emergency Shelters: Learn to build sunproof and rainproof shelters using only natural materials.
- Water Procurement: Techniques for finding, filtering, and creating drinking water in hostile terrains.
- Firecraft: Master the basic requirement of creating fire for warmth, safety, light, and cooking.
- First Aid: Essential emergency handling for cuts, fractures, snake bites, and the medicinal use of herbs.
- Navigation: Map reading, using a compass, and navigating by night.
- Foraging & Trapping: Identifying edible plants and learning practical ways to trap fish for food.
Adventure Programs
We offer a wide range of outdoor activities designed to enhance observation, coordination, and leadership.
- Activities Include: Hikes, Treks, Rock Climbing, Mountaineering, High Rope Activities, and Water Sports.
- Outbound Training (OBT): Grounded in core principles of nature and fitness, our OBT programs are customizable for management colleges and corporate team building.
